REHOVOT HOUSE is an existing house, in which we have provided for a major redevelopment in the project.

The project customers are a married couple with two children, who are planning to have another child in the future. At the same time, the wife planned to open her own creative studio for children and a separate area was needed for this functionality.

The house has two levels and is located on a sloped terrain. Due to the terrain, only the first floor has windows on the front side of the building. While the minus first level has windows on the other three sides.

Before the redevelopment, the first level housed a large living room with a dining table, a walk-through and not very functional kitchen, and two living rooms with a separate bathroom. The minus first level housed two living bedrooms, a bathroom, and an open space that was not really used.

We reviewed the entire functional layout of the floors and proposed to replay the main zones that were poorly organized. On the first floor, we moved the kitchen to the living room area, creating a more convenient connection with the dining group. We also placed a corner sofa in the living room and created a movie watching area. We also reworked the central section of the plan.

We moved the main entrance to the house, shifting it to the left, closer to the public part of the first floor. This allowed us to create a division of the corridor into a more public and private part. By moving the kitchen, we freed up a lot of free space, which we distributed among other important functions for the first floor. Opposite the entrance, there is a guest bathroom with a sink and toilet, next to it is the master closet with a washing machine and dryer in a column. Nearby, we made a large dressing room with a window. It is important to note that we moved the corridor closer to the stairs on the minus first floor, took it out of the right section of the plan, which allowed for more convenient communication between the floors, as well as gaining additional space for living rooms and a bathroom located in the right section of the first floor. Accordingly, in the right section of the first floor there is a large master bedroom, a master bathroom with a large bathtub and a children's room.

On the minus first floor there were also many changes. First of all, we divided the space into private and public areas. In the private area there are two enlarged children's rooms, two bathrooms and a corridor that connects everything. In the public area we placed a classroom for the client's art club, a bathroom for visitors, and also a mamad, which is an office.
